Its a solid, hardwood table, quite heavy. Although the instructions were not well written, it was easy to assemble. One of the rustic wood clips that ‘hold’ the legs and form a part of the design chipped when pushed into its slot. But there were extras. Packed well and shipped pretty quick.

The tabletop came with several obvious scratches and cracks all over. The top and the planks are uneven. One of the joints on the leg is broken and one of the bolts is stripped preventing one of the legs from getting tight.

Several areas where wood filler was used and where sealer/stain didn’t take well. It was difficult to get the legs aligned and the table doesn’t feel especially sturdy even with pins provided. Others have stated there were extra pins and I only received 4 of various lengths. One was damaged. That said, I will be keeping the oval shaped table as it was bought with safety for newly walking 1 year old grandchild in mind. Unfortunately, I don’t see it lasting more than a couple years.

This table came split in two. The packaging smelled horrible. The black paint rubbed off on everything it touched. It was such a disappointment. However, If it didn’t come broken and smelly, it would have been cute.

I am obsessed with this coffee table. Looks like an Amber Lewis for Anthropologie piece but for a fraction of the cost. One of the “stakes” on the legs came a bit misshapen, but we were able to hammer it in. Heavy and sturdy table.
