I bought this thinking that it would be a good idea for our travel trailer, but since it needs to be hooked up to a water hose, it was more convenient to use our trailer’s water heater. It would be great to install this unit in a permanent place like in an off the grid cabin where there was available water. Seems like it is really well built. It is powered by two “D” batteries and comes with all necessary parts for installation.

I think this is a great heater. it is just what we needed for our remote mountain home. I hooked it up temporarily for the photos. It has more pressure than I expected. I believe it will serve us well and it can easily be connected to the propane tank from a gas grille which is really convenient. you could use it anywhere that has a standard garden hose hook up. really cool item. happy we got it. I’m sure it could be used for many situations including extended power outages.

I was very disappointed with this item due to the quality and construction of it. First the hose leading into the water inlet popped off with no immediate way of putting it back on. The photos I have submitted clearly show the hose was not constructed to last very long and it didn’t. Once I connected it water flowed for about a minute and it came loose. The instructions also state the shower hose is made of chrome which it is not. Perhaps if it were I wouldn’t have had any problems. As far as the heater actually working, it warmed water for about a minute then turned off and I didn’t see another drop of warm water. I wouldn’t recommend this product until they fix the current flaws. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was is does have potential its just not there yet.

Hung it up, and all connected, and it seems pretty good. Does heat the water just fine. Got it to shower off for our spa. Will wash dog outside too. Nice!

We live a 1/2 block from a CA beach. We have an outside solar shower. This unit has worked fine as a alternate temporary warm shower on cold days. We use it at “minimum”heat, as the water can become too hot. We had to hire a licenced plumber to install an acceptable shiut off valve for the hot water intake line to the unit. Good hook directions. Complete. Good safety guidelinrs. The wording is long, verbose. Power points word steps might help. We are pleased so far.

Wry easy to set up and use! We recommend getting a second battery as ours ran out after 4 days of camping but overall very satisfied.
