This cabinet is really gorgeous and well made. HOWEVER, be aware that it’s a very labor intensive piece to assemble! I put together a lot of furniture, and usually enjoy it. This one was over the top though. The box it comes in even has “have fun!!!†Printed on it. I’d recommend getting a 2nd person to help. Mainly for attaching the shelves to the sides, there will be way less cursing and sweating I promise. It ended up taking me about 3 hours to build. Now that it’s all done, and I’ve slept off my frustration, I would definitely buy this again. Mainly because of the price! For this price, you end up with a very good looking cabinet that is very sturdy and solid. So if you’re willing to put in some time and elbow grease, this is an amazing savings and great buy.

I got this cabinet in black and like the look. I put it together myself. Instructions were very clear. All tools were included. I’m giving this 3 stars because the doors do not align properly. They are uneven at the top and when closed one sticks out further than the other. For the price, the doors should align match up. I got this for extra storage in my kitchen hence the cabinets above it in the picture. I might use the lightly frosted plastic sheets you can purchase for glasswindows to put on the back of the glass doors so you can’t see through them.

The plastic straps on the back are too light-colored and really stand out against the dark panels. The screws were cheap. One of the front doors is warped. The wood seems good quality and it looks nice.

Beautiful! But took quite a while to put together. Had to make a couple of pilot holes to keep wood from cracking.
I recommend putting the hinges, magnets and knobs on the door before putting the doors on. Also, put the doors on with the assembled cabinet lying flat on its backside on the ground. Some people are complaining that the doors don’t line up,but I did it on the floor so I could make sure they lined up before drilling in the hinges.

Nice solid cabinet, bought it for the hubby’s Legos and toys to be protected from kids since the handles make it potentially lockable. Only issues are the shelves are not adjustable if that’s important to you. Originally came with damaged side panels, but was able to order replacement parts relatively painlessly and liked the ease and quick customer service response. Overall very happy with the purchase!

Where to start? This thing is a disaster. Tons of missing hardware. Poor instructions. Misaligned holes leading to one of the shelves being offset by 1/2″. Every picture of the product makes it appear solid white – the color is “distressed white” but what that means is the wood is lumpy, uneven, and the paint looks like you had a 6 year old with ADHD apply it. I do understand it’s supposed to appear “distressed” — our house has tons of this type of wood — but this is slapdash and about as authentic to the aesthetic as Taco Bell is to Mexican food. Avoid this one at all costs.

Very very flimsy. The color that is suppose to be light wood, is most definitely not the color it appears in the picture. It is more of an orangecaramel color. Not a quality item.
