Be prepared. This table is **completely** unfinished. There is no varnish, no stain, so preservative. It also needs to be lightly sanded, as it was quite rough. Kudos to Barwefurniture that they refunded my complete purchase price, as I was VERY disappointed. I thoroughly understand that each wood table will reflect nature’s variations, but this one also had severe pitting, meaning you’d need wood-putty to fill in the top’s very uneven grain distortions (see the picture, please). Again, if you want a cute table AND are willing to sand, putty, stain, seal, and finish it, this may be the product for you. I, on the other hand, would rather not. The description needs to be honest. Cheers!

Table is unfinished and the first one I had ordered came cracked. It came in 3 pieces and the bottom 2 were cracked. They sent a whole replacement after I took pictures of it. I plan on sanding it more and putting a wax to protect it.

Raw wood that must be sealed to resist stains, water damage etc. Table is solid but quality is minimal. Ordered first table which arrived cracked and lots of wood filler—second table better but still surface cracks.

Height, size, and color are great. It’s a raw wood finish so I’ve already gotten a couple splinters from it. I’ll need to sand it down and put a clear coat over it. It seems a little lopsided to me which is why I’m not giving it 5 stars and because I need to sand it myself.
