Great mailbox! My neighbor said she has “mailbox envyâ€. Well-made, nice and big to hold packages. We used Handy to assemble and install and had a great experience with that too! I would highly recommend this mailbox. (Picture was just after the install)

This is a first rate product. It was made and packaged very carefully. The parts fit together perfectly, with no blemishes, no missing hardware, no surprises. The instructions were clearly written and easy to understand for this not-always-so-handy man. The address placards attach with some military grade glue, but wow do they look nice. The unit is quite substantial, heavy gauge aluminum, precision machining on all of the threaded holes. It is not cheap, but this product is definitely worth it. I highly recommend this unit.

Wife and I decided to replace the generic plastic mailbox with something that matched our home. This was the perfect solution for us! The mailbox is extremely solid, not like the sheet metal mailboxes that the big boxes offer. Mailbox was also very easy to assemble. Most difficult part was digging the hole. Previous owner only had the post down 18″ or so, which explained why it was so wobbly. I didn’t want to set the post in concrete in case a snow plow driver decided to take it out and I would need to replace it at some point. So, I decided to set the post down 42″ and just repack with dirt, which worked out great. However, once I started digging, I quickly discovered why the previous owner stopped at 18″! Overall, very pleased with our purchase.

The mailbox is fine. A bit pricey. Do NOT use Handy for any type of installation. They really like to reschedule (4 times for me) and once was due to installer not having tools or supplies.

Love the mailbox, but despite the installation package I still needed a wooden post and spike.
Also, this is priced too high; do your homework and you will find better deals. I am disappointed in Barwefurniture for that.
