This kitchen island is beautiful and solid! Assembly was no problem. Do plan on treating the wood top with mineral or tung oil as an added layer of protection as it will be a high use surface. This will also enhance the beautiful grain of the wood.

This table is beutiful. I needed a table that was not too wide and the table was perfect. My husband said it was really easy. He actually let my 12 yr old put most of it together and she was so proud of herself!! The wood is very solid. This drawers are not as deep as I was thinking….but thats ok because at least I have now have so extra storage in my kitchen.

I moved in to an old house with a small and funky kitchen – there is not even a silverware drawer. This kitchen island was bought as an attempt for more kitchen counter space, and it is working great. I like the look of it and it matches the existing cabinetry. Since the photo I have added pans and baking sheets to the bottom shelves. The drawers are working for silverware but I had to search for some “low height” silverware holders, which I did find.

Love the Island. Perfect size for a smaller kitchen. Adds a modern look to my outdated kitchen. Will need to use cutting board. Not a butcher block style top. Shelves have enough room for my baking supplies. Fairly easy to put together. Best with 2 people. Got the stools to match. Heavy well constructed piece. Overall very pleased.
