Futon arrived as described. It shipped in one huge box. A little issue with shipping the FedEx truck had an issue with paint in the back of their truck, thankfully only the outside of the box was damaged. This took me a few hours to put together as the instructions are not quite clear. A few times I had to take things apart and rebuild them (note this is not my first time building furniture) I was also stuck for quite a while deciding which piece was the seat and which was the back as both pieces are identical but the steps called for different bolts/nuts in the end either piece works. Mattress is not the best but I bought it to use for extra sleeping space for an occasional guest so it should work for a while.

It was exactly what I needed for the spot and the color is perfect. Everything in the bar area that my husband built is white or gray. My husband passed away a year after building a bar and the bar itself is set up as a tribute to him with all his warm metals. He would’ve loved the futon. My dog who is not allowed on most of the furniture but when we had a futon for my daughter he was allowed on it immediately made himself at home. I didn’t have the heart to tell him the futon was not for him.

Time consuming to put together. Stability is good. Mattress is ok as futon but not that great to sleep on for more than 1 night. I got a 3 inch mattress topper to help. Not a bad purchase.

Very uncomfortable. The cushion is fine for a day or two, but after that it feels like you’re sitting on metal. It also squeaks a lot when getting up or sitting down.

Extremely disappointed! OUTRIGHT LIE on 77 inches (it was 70) If you have a tall family like I do this is a problem. Also ordered a queen size bed and they sent me a full! If I wasn’t on a time crunch to get my son set up for college, I would return everything! Barwefurniture YOU SUCK!

If I could give this no stars I would. This is the worst futon ever. The mattress is not comfortable at all. The frame is noisy and when you lay you automatically sink in the middle. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS YOU WILL REGRET I

Worst purchase ever. Mattress not even close to 6 inches….got it Monday, cant even sleep on it. Maybe a 5 year old could. super cheap metal. Had to purchase plywood to put under cheap foam mattress. Totally regret this purchase. Should have shopped local.
