Good value for the money. The top and sides are solid wood while the drawer sides and bottoms are laminates. The laminate part are hidden when the drawers are closed. The drill holes and dowel joints line up perfectly which can be a problem sometimes on “you assemble furniture”. It took approximately 2 hours from start to finish. The directions are adequate. I recommend the following: (1) using a ratchet screw driver with a Philips and Allen tips (2) a Power Drill with Phillips tips (3) wood glue to fill in on the dowel holes and joints.

Top, sides, and drawer fronts are real (thin, but real) wood but the drawer sides, bottoms and back of dresser are pressed wood and cardboard with a wood-grain sticker over them. The dresser LOOKS nice but feels a bit chinsey when opening and closing the drawers. they seem to open and close fine and tracks work well. As I walk into my bedroom, it’s hard to notice the difference between this dresser and my solid wood one which I paid 4 times the price for – although instantly able to feel the significant difference upon opening a drawer.

Very nice but slightly chipped at top between two drawers. Understand the warning signs have to be on but wish they were easier to remove and didn’t leave a residue. Wasted time having to go buy goo gone to remove adhesive and make it not sticky.
