Solid quality! I was right to go with welded stools instead of the self-assembled. These are well made. The rungs are at the perfect height. The pad underneath each leg is threaded so allow for adjustment so the stools sit squarely and do not rock. I gave the wood seats a light sanding, stained them midnight black to match the other black accents in my design and finished with a satin poly urethane. Took the look from industrial rustic to industrial chic – elevated them to a more sophisticated look.

These are very very sturdy bar stools. They look good and are adjustable in height. I put a coat or two of clear polyurethane on the seat to keep it looking new. My friend wants a set for her house. Worth the extra . Oh, and they came assembled.
