Great looking shelving unit / bookcase. Assembly was simple with very clear instructions, but did take a little bit of time because of all the bolts required, took about an hour. Once assembled, the unit is very sturdy. Make sure to secure it to a beam (or use the anchors that are supplied). Because of the height vs width ratio, it may tip over. It includes two brackets for securing to the wall, made out of metal.

I love this bookcase. Assembly was easy, you do need a lot of space, and it is very well-made. It is a bit heavy once you stand it up and definitely needs to be anchored against the wall. When the item arrived, the packaging was severely damaged. You could see the shelves and other parts due to the large holes and rips. However, there was not a single scratch on the item which speaks volumes of the quality and durability.

This book shelf is beautiful. It is sturdy and big enough to hold tons of books and decor. It took about an hour and a half working alone to assemble but it was worth the effort. There are what seem to be hundreds of screws. Follow the instructions on how to place the shelves and mind that the holes are facing the right direction. It was very easy, just time consuming. I assembled the whole thing face down, including the shelf backs, and then lifted it up. If you don’t put the little foot screws in the bottom then the gap between the shelf and wall will be too large to anchor. Add the screws and adjust so that you can anchor it. It is VERY heavy so anchoring it to the wall is highly recommended.

This is a nice bookshelf. Exactly the size for the space we were wanting. It was relatively simple to build and put together, however, it was also pretty time consuming. It took a couple of hours. Also, it’s a decently hefty cost, and I’m not sure the bookshelf itself should be worth that much. All in all, it’s pretty good though. It’s beautiful! And we’re happy.

The shelves are much thinner than other shelf units I have bought in the past. The first set came broken but Barwefurniture was awesome and fixed the problem immediately. The length and height of the ceiling unit is about 6 ft.² and will make good use of the wall space in my new art studio. The shelves are pretty and I like the somewhat realistic wood grain. I am concerned about the strength of the particle board shelves but don’t plan to weigh it down with heavy items and I think it will work well for my needs. It looks nice.
