Loveee this mattress! Not too soft yet not too firm so it is the perfect medium for me. It measured first at about 9inches expanded up until almost about 11inches (these pictures were day 2 letting expand) I read previous reviews really didnt care much about the height or it reaching 11inches (I have a platform bed) so I didnt want it to be that high so this size mattress worked perfectly for me! Exactly what I wanted. Also would recommend letting expand for 23days!!

This mattress is great. I love the thickness of it, especially since I don’t have a box spring and it sits right on the platform frame. I normally like a medium mattress. This feels a bit firmer than I normally like, but you can’t compare a firm memory foam mattress to a firm coil spring mattress–that’s apples to oranges. Because it’s memory foam, you sink in a bit. But the firmness keeps you from sinking very far as the foam cradles and cushions your joints. There is no movement transfer; it sits solid while you move around. In short, when I first lay down on it, I feared this bed would be too firm for me, but it’s not. I’ve slept on it for three nights now, and it’s incredibly comfortable. I sleep deeply and soundly on it. What’s more, the back pain I was having the weekend before I got the mattress vanished the first night I slept on it. Update: I recommended this bed to my son, and he ordered one for his apartment. He loves it. I’m housesitting for him right now, and it’s as comfortable as mine.
I am very sensitive to smells and to fumes, and I have had other memory foam products before–a shredded memory foam pillow and a mattress topper–that needed extensive airing before use. There was virtually no smell on this mattress at all. I had planned to air it for three nights, which was what my shredded memory foam pillow required, but after airing it with open windows and fans for about 24 hours it was fine to sleep on.
I highly recommend this mattress!
Update: After a few months, this mattress is still great. Super comfortable!
